MobileHog Support

MobileHog is an unofficial, independently developed client for PostHog analytics — not made or supported by PostHog Inc.

Getting started

MobileHog connects directly to a PostHog account you already have. On first launch:

Choose your region — PostHog Cloud US, PostHog Cloud EU, or a self-hosted instance URL.
Paste a Personal API Key from PostHog (Settings → Personal API Keys), scoped with at least read access to projects, dashboards, insights, query, and persons.
Pick a project if your key has access to more than one.

Your key is stored only in this device's iOS Keychain. It is never sent anywhere except directly to the PostHog instance you configured.

"That key is missing read scopes." — Your Personal API Key needs at minimum: project:read, dashboard:read, insight:read, query:read, person:read. Check the key's scopes under PostHog Settings → Personal API Keys.
"PostHog rejected that key." — The key may have been revoked, or copied incorrectly. Generate a fresh key and try again.
Nothing shows up after signing in. — Confirm the key has access to at least one project with existing dashboards in PostHog.
